My forum of choice these days. I like that they hold their members to a confessional standard.

That really solves problems that CF has had since its inception. Erwin and the rest need to realize that they will never experience this utopian "All Christians under one roof" concept because there are just as many wolves here as sheep (maybe more). Moreover, you have a staff of laypeople who are unqualified to shepherd the flock, and consequently, are not fitted to hold its membership accountable to its profession. These latest rules where membership is even further watered down by allowing the God-haters the same privileges as the faithful simply reinforces the confusion suffered by the site staff. It's not going to get better; it's going to get worse. The only thing that can save CF is a return to authentic, biblical Christianity.

Not to be too nitpicky but CF is not and never has been a church.

Nevertheless, it claims to be a ministry. If so, a ministry of what church? If none, on what authority does its staff presume to minister?

This thread saddens me.

I left CF because the old CF didn't let me preach calvinism. I came back when Erwin made the changes.

After reading comments from fellow reformed and calvinist is making me think of my doctrinal beliefs regarding God's Sovereign relating to Reformed and Calvinism. The bad events are circumscribed by a loving providence and God promises to use them all for His ultimate good for HIS GLORY. There is a verse in the Bible that God promises that there won’t be anything so bad happen to me that I am not able to bear it. God does everything--He governs everything. Faith is accepting God's Will.

I have alot of thinking to do about my faith and my relationship with Reformed theology & Calvinism.

Faith is believing one is a sinner in need of a savior; and believing that Christ is that Savior.

You can not remove your membership, why do you think "membership" numbers are so high?

Just walk away if that is your wish. That is basically what I have done
