CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like to flip through magazines when I'm too tired to read a real book. I'm silly that way.
I hate picnics with a purple passion. Can't undersand why anyone would want to eat outside, on the ground, with bugs. It's uncomfortable and completely unpleasant in my experience. I hate it. I don't mind eating at the beach though. No bugs, or dirt...plus there is the added benifit of the ocean sounds and air. (I know, I'm weird for not liking picnics...most people love them)
If you could be anything and there was no possibility of failure, what would you be?

I would love to live by the ocean, but hubby would not.
I love Victorian style homes. I live in a small one, but would love to live in a larger one. However, our next home will be our retirement home, so probably be all on one floor.

Yes, within walking distance. Wish it had a pool. We have to drive the kids to another park for swimming lessons in the Summer time.
