Idicious, hang in there, bro.
About 6 years ago, my husband and his best friend were coming out of the studio, having just finished mixing an awesome CD they recorded...naturally, they were excited about it, and as they got into the car, chattering away, little did my husband realize he left his Paul Reed Smith guitar on the curb (in San Francisco). By the time he figured it out, several blocks later, they drove back, and it was gone. He said he felt like he got punched in the stomach, and he got literally sick over it. I mean, yeah, sure, he has other guitars, but that one was his favorite. And expensive, too.
Anyway, my husband is an AWESOME guitarist, who plays in a well-known Latin Rock band, but also, as of the last 7 years, he has devoted himself to composing and playing music for the Lord.
So, here's the thing:
About 4 years ago, he arrived at a friend's house, where some of the fellas were meeting up to ride together to the studio to record some Christian songs. One of the guys said to my husband, "Hey, check out this guitar" and pointed to a case on the sofa. My husband opened the case, and in it was a gorgeous Paul Reed Smith McCarty guitar. On top of the guitar was a letter to him, get this, from the Lord! It said that his music was as a sweet aroma to heaven, and as a result this guitar was a gift to him to replace the one that was lost!!! I mean, the letter is just amazing! My husband burst into tears...and noone will 'fess up about where the guitar came from, or who paid for it. Nobody. It's from the Lord!
To this day, he plays that guitar more than all his others (even though he has an endorsement from Gibson! oops! LOL!)....and not long ago, while he was playing it at a Christian concert, a pastor came up to him in tears, and told him that he heard the voice of God speaking to him through those guitar strings!! (Wow! Heavy!)
There are just stories upon stories about this guitar since the day it mysteriously appeared!
Point being: If you use your musical talents which God Himself has given you to minister His Word, and to minister to Him with praise, either your guitar, or even a better one, will come back to you eventually.
Have faith - pray - and you will have what your heart desires!
God bless you.....keep us posted!
