Having just began to notice these a bit on Facebook as an Aussie I am interested to know how Americans view the listed sources in terms of telling the truth and reliability.

Depends on the American and what aspect. The FoxNews website generally does a decent job reporting, but their opinions section, FoxNation, is reliably bad. There are local affiliate stations that do a fine job with local news as compared to other, similar stations. The cable news network as founded by Roger Ailes has functioned as an arm of the Republican Party with "talking points" handed out to the news people as well as the opinionators.I am really curious what Americans think of FOX news.
Anything Rupert Murdoch owns I never trust because I think he is an evil man, and anything that relies on corporate advertising revenue to exist can't be relied on to be fully independent either.Out of those, I would say Fox, but I don't really trust any of them.
Ditto. For all the "NPR is so liberal" stuff, I find it far and away the most level headed and even handed. It's so refreshing to hear segments with a conservative and liberal politely talking to eachother rationally and willing to criticize their own side. I'll give you that the non news programs have a liberal bend to them (some more than others), but I find the news well done.None of the American ones, though I trust NPR but it was not one of the poll choices. I'd say the Beeb is leagues ahead of the other choices as far as unbiased news goes.
Fox is a necessary counter weight against the others which lean heavily to the left.I asked this because I stumbled upon the US ABC one as its similar to our ABC in Australia in a search which I didn't think was too bad, then out of curiosity I looked at others and they were pretty much the same. When I got to Fox it was "We need more guns" and Obama is the blame for everything Trump has done wrong and even now everything negative thats happening Obama caused, like in retirement he has nothing better to do! It seemed heaps of people in the FB comments were lapping it up and believing it like it was gospel truth. One part of me thinks it is scary, and the other thinks it amusing. It got me wondering what sort of demographic is attracted to those different sites.
Which survey was this?A recent survey showed that media people have a skewed view of democracy. They believe that it's their job to steer the public in the right direction, so the public can vote for the politicians they think should be in power. Then the public can sit back and relax until the next election when the media will once again tell you who you should vote for.
Having said all that I prefer to watch Fox because their version of reality most closely aligns with mine.
Research has shown that people are more likely to trust someone with a British accent. True story.Of the choices in the op, I'd trust the BBC over the others.

Until you realize that BBC may be the worst offender of them all. Just search "BBC lies" on youtube.com and you'll find a plethora of videos similar to this one:
