Most “conspiracy theories” are dangerous, but one that consistently gets people in trouble is the “Sovereign Citizen” and related “Moorish National” idea, under which people claim to be exempt to various laws and the US constitution. And some, such as the terrorist Darrell Brooks, have even resorted to Sovereign Citizen defenses. I believe that adherence to the Sovereign Citizen idea is incompatible with Christianity, since Christ our True God taught us to render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s, and unto God that which is God’s.
