If Trudeau brings in the military... he will be done.
Let's see what the Canadian people think about this:

From Toronto' City News (CityNews):

A new poll finds more than two-thirds of Canadians would support the use of military force to help clear out Ottawa protesters, while support for the truckers has fallen to 20 per cent – both for what they are protesting and how they are going about it.

If the vaccinations work.. we should have had heard immunity at 60%... wait, nope... 70%.. wait, nope..80%... wait.. nope... gotta be 100%....
If they work?

They do work - this is a fact.

People will deliberately try to mislead by setting forth contrived and irrelevant definitions of what constitutes a vaccine that works.

But this simple fact is that they do work.

From "City News"... must be legit.. Don't trust it. CBC was booed off of several areas and sent packing as they are painting false narratives.

Just from my circle of friends... and the shear number of protestors and the global following... I doubt that 2/3 are in support of ending this at all.

You can make statistics say whatever the person paying for the survey wants to hear.

Read what I said... We were told that 60% vaccinated would bring "heard immunity". That changed three times.. I've even heard that there is "no" heard immunity with this vaccine or this virus..

Like they said.. You can talk to 10 doctors and get 12 different opinions.

People have lost trust.

Read what I said....
The lack of honesty here is troubling. You clearly stated that if the vaccines work, we would have herd immunity.

You are misrepresenting what it means for the vaccines to work in the time of omicron

The vaccines work.

This is a fact.

Please be more truthful.

Umm, can you provide evidence for the claim that the CBC is "painting false narratives"?

Just from my circle of friends... and the shear number of protestors and the global following... I doubt that 2/3 are in support of ending this at all.
What?! You dismiss the results of a poll by a long-standing news source and defer to "your circle of friends"?

Please.

You can make statistics say whatever the person paying for the survey wants to hear.
Profoundly misleading, of course. The kind of thing one says when the polls are not to one's liking.

“My chain of command is doing exactly what I would do… if I were in their shoes,” Scheller wrote in a post that followed his being relieved of command."
...
Scheller’s post also stated that he had received a general discharge under honorable conditions, the lowest allowed under the conditions of his plea deal.
...
During an Oct. 14 court-martial, Scheller pleaded guilty to violating Article 88 (contempt toward officials), Article 89 (disrespect toward superior commissioned officers), Article 90 (willfully disobeying a superior commissioned officer), Article 92 (dereliction in the performance of duties), Article 92 (failure to obey an order or regulation) and 27 specifications of Article 133 (conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman).

Scheller was directed to forfeit $5,000 of pay for one month for these violations.

Marine officer who publicly demanded accountability discharged (marinecorpstimes.com)

That's extremely light punishment under the circumstances. His discharge was "general discharge under honorable conditions," which is what a troop would get for refusing to cut his hair. The forfeiture of pay is pre-tax, so it wasn't even all of $5000. Probably a bit less than half of his total military compensation for the month.

Yet another poll that suggests Trudeau will have voter support:

Most Support Military Force to Remove Ottawa Protesters

A new poll by Maru Public Opinion says 53 per cent of Canadians approve the use of force by the military to remove truckers, their families and others who refuse to leave the protest site in the nation's capital.

If only there were a peaceful resolution, like dropping all of these ineffective, performative mandates.

Oh who am I kidding? I guess military force is the only logical answer!

I guess it won't be long now before the Canadian government starts handing out free brown shirts.

Another bit of data; Ontario recorded an increase of infections that was 289% higher than at any other point in the pandemic on January 1, and that's with a roughly 80% fully vaccinated population;

View attachment 312761
And once again, what percentage of those were unvaccinated? Maybe this data from Ontario will help show how vaccines are working.

I'm curious; do you know what "unvaccinated" means in that data?

Yes, the charts are comparing people who have received at least 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine vs those who have not yet received a COVID-19 vaccine.

That screenshot in the tweet from Dr. Jennifer Kwan is interesting. There is a third graph that she omitted for some reason;

So vaccines aren't stopping infections. They are reducing severe outcomes, but the vaccines are not preventing infections nor transmission of the disease.

Not quite.

The charts are comparing people who have received at least 2 doses of the vaccine and it's been at least two weeks since their second dose, vs. those who have not received any doses, those who have received one dose and those who have received two doses but it hasn't been two weeks since their last dose. All of those people are "unvaccinated' in that data.
