The Mezzanine Floor?

What is this? i was listening to the song but i don't know what "the mezzanine" floor is?

the mezzanaine floor is the floor in between the ground floor and the top floor.
at least thats what i think it is - im pretty sure it is

i think its meant to be a bit of a cool ( ) metaphor!

Somebody i know was telling me that it's supposed to be the platform in Heaven upon which the Angels give praise to God. It wouldn't surprise me if this was true because Delirious? mention angels quite a lot in their songs. And mountains too lol.

i think that its meant to be a metaphor of how we, as christians, may feel different in that we're set apart from the world (above ground floor) but we're not yet in heaven (above the floor we're on) or something like that.

i think that it is pretty relevant to the song.
