Shabbat Shalom. Peace to you and yours. May God bless you this very day.
THE SABBATH IS THE SEAL OF GOD
A SEAL ALWAYS HAS 3 ELEMENTS:
1. Name
2. Title
3. Territory
Where do we find the Seal of our God?
Exodus 20: 7-11 The 4th Commandment, The Sabbath
1. Name: God
2. Title: Creator
3. Territory: Earth, and everything in it.
But people go so what? What is the big deal about finding the seal of God. Three seals, one explains do not touch or open without authorization as in the seals found on the scroll in revelation. The other is what stamps the seal upon what is being sealed. The third meaning of the seal and its value is found in God seal and what it is placed upon.
The modern process and requirements to seal a record and the protections it provides vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, and even between civil and criminal cases. Generally, record sealing can be defined as the process of removing from general review the records pertaining to a court case and finalizing it for enduring process of the law.
A contract under seal is considered a more formal contract. Generally, valuable consideration is necessary to make an enforceable contract but for a contract under seal, no consideration is necessary. Traditionally, such a contract carries with it an *irrebuttable presumption of consideration". The seal is the finality, the conclusion, and "irrebuttable".
Filing under seal filing is a procedure allowing sensitive or confidential information to be filed with a court without becoming a matter of public record. The court generally must give permission for the material to remain under seal. Just as Yeshua was given permission to open up the seal.
Signed, sealed, and delivered. Completed satisfactorily, as in The house is sold—signed, sealed, and delivered. This idiom refers to a legal deed, which to be valid had to be signed by the seller, sealed with a wax seal, and delivered to the new owner. Yeshua received the sealed scroll as the new owner.
A seal, in biblical times as today, is used to guarantee security or indicate ownership. Ancient seals were often made of wax, embedded with the personalized imprint of their guarantor. The Roman authorities used such a seal to secure Jesus' tomb ( Matt 27:66 ). A signet ring was also called a seal. It was valued among Israel's booty ( Num 31:50 ). The significance of the act of sealing is dependent on the importance of the one doing the sealing. This is why Jezebel falsely authenticated letters she wrote in Ahab's name by affixing them with his seal ( 1 Kings 21:8 ). Ahasuerus's solemn decree to annihilate the Jews ( Es 3:12 ) and then to bless them (8:8, 10) was sealed with his signet ring. Revelation's saints have a seal with God's name protecting them from judgment ( Rev 9:4 ; 14:1 ). Throughout eternity all of God's people will bear this mark of identification ( Rev 22:4 ).
