As the controversy surrounding Bud Light’s partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney heats up, the brand’s parent company has suffered a concurrent loss of more than $5 billion in market value.
Yes, that’s billion with a “B.”
The backlash against Anheuser-Busch began on April 1 when Mulvaney, a transgender social media “influencer,” posted a video letting fans know that Bud Light had sent him a can of beer with his face on it and that he was partnering with the brand for an ad campaign.

Parody/satire? I can't tell.

From the article, "I have kids and I don't care what their response is, Bud Light has hired a mentally deranged freak to market perversion to little children.."
He goes on to say, "There has to be an (conservative) alternative."

There's a conservative imperative to market beer to children?
Please tell me this is supposed to be funny/joke.

Apparently, Ultra Right beer is for real. At $20 a 6-pack, I'll just stick with Miller Lite.

Shows you how haha well fake news really works. All the left news and then talk shows and what not made it seem as if everyone just loved this guy yet in fact most of America wanted nothing to do with it and Busch paid the price.. Since I don't drink praise God does not bother me

Incorrect.

The charts used in the article is carefully curated to show 5 specific days.

Pull the chart back to 1 month, 6 months, YTD or even the last year, you’ll see the stock hasn’t been this high since June of 2021. On the date of the collaboration, you can see the stock went up almost $7. In fact, the stock average is up 9.95% this year vs last year and 38% in the last 6 months. On the day of the announcement, they gained almost $8 a share and have largely maintained that gain.

AB had paid no price beyond normal market fluctuations and is actually riding high from free publicity, yielding the steadiest performance in years on the stock market.

Numerous companies have pushed the LGBTQ agenda, and continue to do so. Why is Bud Light the only product being called out for it, and paying the price? I guess there are woke movies and programming that suffer low box office or ratings, but for the most part these things go by without incident. I'd like to see more people refusing to do business with woke companies, but that's almost every company.

Bud Light isn’t paying the price at all. Their stock remains at a high not seen since June 2021 and was just rated bullish. The stock spiked at the announcement and has maintained most of that spike.

As far as “wokeness” goes, it’s a mythical concept so avoiding it should be fairly easy for those who feel compelled to do so.

I don’t boycott anything b/c if I were to boycott what corporations donate to & support & what the CEOS actually support (hint, they're not as neutral or merely pretending to support these things), I’d have to live in a cave.

"I have kids and I don't care what their response is, Bud Light has hired a mentally deranged freak to market perversion to little children.."
So you have found documents that show the government that someone who buys Bud Light is mentally disabled? I don't know how that fits in with "freedom of choice" Does freedom of rights only include straight white males? Do gays or transgenders have the right to choose their favorite beer?
There's a conservative imperative to market beer to children?

Market beer to working young men but don't demand what or who certain beer brands are inherently "better" if you are straight or gay or trans etc.

I don't think it was meant to be the copy of humorous clips where more than to alienate one beer as being pervert beer and one is good ol' boy beer.

Who needs to distort who is supposed to like what beer? I prefer vodka with an OJ chaser. Does that make me straight, gay, or trans? I'm getting confused as to drinking what drink makes you a member of one of these societies.

Anybody got a cheat sheet?

That was a quote from the linked article, thus the words "from the article" and the inclusion of quotation marks.

To hurt their bottom line you would have to stop purchasing all of the products they own.
