Yeah. I even heard that All-State Band Tryouts were cancelled for band. That means it must be really bad up there.

oh, yeah. It's bad. Still can't see the blacktop on College Avenue. And everyone is using the streets that are usually bumper to bumper to sled on and use as sidewalks cause there are only a few vehicles. No one is going outside except the people from places like texas that have never seen snow like this. There's a drift that I walked by earlier that was over my head. It's real bad.

Lol, our English III teacher was dismissing us with "Have a good weekend!" on Wednesday. When everyone heard her say it, we all laughed because we knew what she meant. I guess she was right .

She usually is about things like this.

Well, most everyone expected that we wouldn't have school Thursday. I don't think anyone was brave enough to state that we might not have school Friday either, not even me...and I'm usually pretty optomistic about things like this.

 

[Dallyn]

the stuff we got was supposed to be worse Friday but everyone figured we would still have class. So it was a nice surprise.

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

Yeah. My parents have said that in the time they were there, classes only closed down once, though they did say that occasionally, when winter storms came through, they would go to class and their professor wouldn't be there, so I guess there are smaller ways you can get lucky.

I heard that only two of the four lanes on one of the main streets there are not covered with ice and snow. Wow...it must've been really bad to overcome the crews there.

Yeah. We have two lanes and everyone walks in the roads too. But It's getting better.

Wel, there's supposed to be a huge arctic air mass sweeping in tonight and its supposed to stick around tomorrow. At school...they don't even have the parking lot cleared off. My dad was talking with some of the janitors and they were saying that we might not even have school Monday! In my mind, at least, that is incredible.

Take note: I said might not. It is still possible.

SfC, did you have trouble with #9 on the psychology final? I can only seem to find 3 levels of Kolberg's moral development.

Umm, there's only three in the book. In our notes, we took six. Also, if you google "Kholberg's Six Stages of Moral Development", you'll find it. It's basically the same as the notes we took.

On numbers 6-9, were we supposed to list and explain or just list the charts and stuff?

I have a simple question for all members of the lounge (and please keep this a discussion instead of a debate):

Why do you believe Christianity?

 

[Dallyn]

Your simple questions require long answers. Too long for me to explain on here. And you wouldn't believe me anyway. Well, you might but I'd surprise me.

How could I not believe that what you say is your reason for being a Christian? Why would you lie about it?

 

[Dallyn]

I didn't say you would think I was lying. It just happened when I was really really young and you'd think I'd made it up back then. Besides it's a really long story and I don't wanna get into it on here. Not enough room.

Aw, c'mon! If I told you the story as to why I believe what I believe, then you'd be drooling because your mouth was hanging open; you wouldn't believe it if I presented every piece of evidence in the world for it, and I'm being pretty sure-fire serious, too. The least you could do is PM the story; I like hearing stories about how people believed!

Let's hear it then. I think Mom is making me come to school again sometime the first week I get off. So I'll see y'all again.
