Indeed, then there is no excuse for anyone to break God's 4th commandment which is one of the 10 commandments written with the finger of God on two tables of stone and spoken personally by God to his people. *EXODUS 20:1-17; EXODUS 32:16.
Galatians 5:4Brother,
Show where the Lord said the words"The Sabbath day is Abolished". If you can't do this brother then there is no way I can accept your point of view, and no matter what I say or what scripture I use you will not accept mine.
I love you brother may the Lord someday bring you to the truth and light of his word.
If you fail to put to death those who work on the Sabbath then you are violating His commandment concerning the Sabbath.
You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Exodus 31:14-15
Anyone who attempts to keep any part of the law of Moses and doesn’t keep all the law is under a curse.

Here is what I said -
The Sabbaths in the law was to point us to Christ, Who is the substance of the Sabbath.
Here is the scripture that validated what I said.
So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Colossians 2:16-17 JLB
Please show the New Testament scriptures where Jesus or His Apostles instructed us as to how we observe the Sabbath under the New Covenant. JLB
The Sabbath according to the law of Moses has been abolished, because the law of commandments contained in ordinances has been abolished.
having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances,
For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, Ephesians 2:14-15
So the Sabbath is as it was in the beginning before the law of Moses was added.
The Sabbath is simply made for man to rest. JLB
If you do not know what the OLD COVENANT is how can you know what the NEW COVENANT is? We are living in the NEW COVENENT now and the wages of sin is still death to all those who reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23. In the NEW COVENANT however the death penalty is carried out at the 2nd coming *HEBREWS 10:26-27. You are mixed up with God's eternal law that gives us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTOUESNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; PSALMS 119:172 and the SHADOW laws from the MOSAIC BOOK of the COVENANT *EXODUS 24:7 that pointed to Jesus and God's plan of salvation in the NEW (HEBREWS 7-10). Here you are proclaiming the 10 commandments with one breath and teaching others to break them with the next. Something to think about?
I agree with you.
Let’s use what Jesus and His Apostles commanded us to do concerning the way we are to observe the Sabbath.
One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. Romans 14:5
And again
So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Colossians 2:16-17
Here Paul gives us instructions concerning the Sabbath.
The Sabbaths in the law was to point us to Christ, Who is the substance of the Sabbath.
If you would like to examine some scriptures as to how men of God went about keeping and observing the Sabbath before the law of Moses, then we could study those scriptures as well.
I would like that Abraham would be a good example to study since the Lord said this about him -
And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”
Genesis 26:4-5

And they are not burdensome. Keeping his commandment which is the Sabbath day is not burdensome, no more than any of the other commandments. The New Testament is filled with admonition and warning concerning the commandments.
Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 1 John 2:3-5
Obeying His commandments is how we love God and love His children.
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
1 John 5:3

Hi JBL
It does not appear so with what you are posting. In the days of Jesus and the Apostles their bible was the OLD TESTAMENT scriptures. Everything that we have today in the NEW TESTAMENT comes from the OLD TESTAMENT scriptues. I said I would be happy to answer your questions after you answer my questions you have chosen to ignore. Scripture please.
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
- Romans 14:5-6
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
Some people try to use these verses to say that since Paul said, both the man who esteemeth one day above another and the man who esteemeth every day alike, to say that the seventh day has no more significance except to those who believe it remains.
But when we look at these verses in context we see that Paul is speaking of only two things: A. Weaker and stronger brethren B. What foods are clean and how they are made clean.
It is in the light of the surrounding verses that we see what Paul is speaking of in verses 5-6. He is speaking not of the Sabbath day but of people who are weak in the faith and decide in their hearts that the Lord does not want them to eat certain things on certain days. There are many studies on these two verses that can be found online that show that what Paul was speaking of here was not the Sabbath day but instead of those who chose to limit what they could eat on certain days.
While I do not agree with this Church's(Seventh Day Adventists) views on the translation of the Greek word used for unclean in romans 14
2839. Koinos
Translated as Unclean but could also mean: common, defiled, unclean, unholy.
I do agree with most of what they have to say about Romans 14:5-6 and they provide an excellent commentary/Exegis on it here: https://adventistbiblicalresearch.org/sites/default/files/pdf/Onedaybetter.pdf
2. Colossians 2- Since the handwriting of Ordinances which was the Mosaic law has been fulfilled in Christ(Colossians 2:14,15), no man can judge us in the foods that we eat(Colossians 2:16) because we are no longer subject to those ordinances that are of man(Colossians 2:14,20,21,22). Verse 20 says that we who are dead in Christ are no longer subject to the ordinances that command that we: Verse 21 touch not, taste not, or handle not any food that is deemed unclean: Verse 22 that all things we eat perish with the using: Verse 22 that these are only the doctrines and commandments of men: Verse 14 that were blotted out by the blood of Christ and taken away. Verse 23 says that those who do not touch, taste, handle do indeed have wisdom concerning the Neglecting of eating that which is not healthy for the flesh(for swine and foods like it are unhealthy for our bodies). But it says that we are not commanded to abstain by any Law. Verse 16: No man can judge us in what we eat: Verse 16 Neither can any man judge us for not keeping Holidays not found in the bible, there is only one day we are to keep(outside of Sabbath), neither can any man judge us for keeping the Sabbath(Saturday) men do judge us for keeping this day, and many more judge us for not keeping their holidays and their false days of worship(false Sabbath days) just as in the apostles day people judged them for not keeping the feasts and the feast day sabbath that went along with it and other holidays that were kept by the Jews.
3. In the Old Testament the Sabbath was given in the beginning and kept by the Lord and the Angels (Genesis 2:2). Then we see that the Sabbath is kept in the New Heavens and the New Earth(Isaiah 66:23) and is even requirement to enter into the Lord's Holy mountain in the Last days(Isaiah 56:1-12).
And they are not burdensome. Keeping his commandment which is the Sabbath day is not burdensome, no more than any of the other commandments.
Matt 7:21-23Galatians 5:4
You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
Romans 11:5-6
So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6 And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
The New Testament records the doctrine of Christ, which is what the apostles taught.
Please provide the scriptures from Jesus Christ and His Apostles that specifically instruct us as to how we are to observe the Sabbath today, under the new covenant.

Through the Paul the Apostle we are told the Sabbath remains, and he preached the Full Gospel of Christ(Hebrews 4).If Jesus commanded His disciples to keep the Sabbath please post that scripture.
Resting and not working on the Sabbath is certainly not burdensome.
Working to minister on the Sabbath is burdensome.

JLB
It is the day designated by the Lord to be Holy. It is the Sabbath day.
No I do not, it is a sin only under these conditions and it is good to eat under these conditions.
All Foods are Lawful to eat:
1. All meats are clean(Matt 15:11,17; 1 Cor 10:23,30; Colossians 2:16; Romans 14:2,3,5,6,14,17,20; 1 Tim 4:34,5; Mark 7:15,18-19; 1 Cor 6:12, 13)
2. All food is made clean only by thanksgiving and prayer(1 Tim 4:3,4,5; Romans 14:2,3,5,6,14,17,20; 1 Cor 10:30).
3. The kingdom of God is not what we eat(Romans 14:14,17,18,20)
4. All meats are clean so none can judge us in what we eat(Colossians 2:16; Romans 14:3,4,10,13)
5. What we eat is not a sin if we are strong in the faith and believe that any food is okay to eat and not a sin(1 Tim 4:3; Romans 14:5,14,20; 1 Cor 10:23)
When/How a Food Becomes unlawful to eat
1. If we eat and it become evil spoken of, it is a sin(1 Cor 10:30;Romans 14:16)
2. If we eat and it brings our brother to stumble or bring him to offence, it is a sin(1 Corinthians 10:25,27,28,29,32; Romans 14:13,20,21,24)
3. If we do not believe and we eat, then it is a sin(Romans 14:15,19,20,21,23)
4. We are to Abstain from eating meat with blood still in it(Acts 15:19-20,27-29; Acts 21:25
5 . We are to Abstain from eating meat that has been strangled(Acts 15:19-20,27-29; Acts 21:25)
I'm sure my brother who is a part of the SDA Church will disagree. For this cause, and since I didn't come here for doubtful disputations, I ask that if you wish to continue discussing clean and unclean foods you and I take it somewhere else so as not to detract from the Sabbath discussion.
Romans 12:2Matt 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
