That is a funny example, a real funny example. I worked for Nestle until my job was sent to the Philippines in 2018. But regarding the water, we drink Nestle Ice Mountain water; I just picked up 10 cases yesterday. We have to drink Nestle water, because the public water supply stinks of Sulphur and other chemicals. Somedays it just smells like blood and farts on other days it really reeks. The lead levels are high, but the city says is within the legal limits. We only find out about fecal coliform contamination AFTER they have lowered the levels and over chlorinate the water. Please tell me how socialism will fix the problem that it created.

Republicans led the whole world into the great recession under 8 years of Bush propping up the rich and the banks with their sub-prime loans, and increased the deficit. Obama pulled us out, cut the deficit in half. Now Trump again rides on Obama's wave, while proffiting the rich and has pushed the deficit into trillions while cutting social safety nets.
It is the rich we cannot afford!

The question is not whether we need democratic socialism, the qesttion is if we should allow corporations to steal/privatize public resources, for pennies, and make millions/billions, as Nestle is doing with bottled water, water that God made for everyone...
