  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I am fairly sure that you are to follow the laws of your country as long as they dont go against any of Gods laws and do not oppress people and such. So I would say that is most likely a sin but God will still forgive you for your decision though if you are sorry. However I would advise remaining in school as having an education will allow you to use the gifts God gave you to better help others than if you werent educated. Unless you feel that God is calling you to do something now, but that is between you and God.

Its never too far to go back. You can get special help and tutors and so forth. Trust me go back to school. If you do not want to go back I urge you to go at least get your General Education Degree (GED)

I never finished High school either but I did get my GED. You need an education. If you want a decent job and to be able to support yourself one day than you need to fix this my friend :)

I really dont know, this is something you need to really ask God.

I will say this, if i was your father id tie you up in the school chair

all joking aside I wouldnt be pleased, I would want what is best for you and your future.

And your heavenly Father is the same. He loves you and wants what is best for you. I dont know why you dont want to stay in school. But I know there is gonna be alot of things we need to do in our lives that we dont wanna go through :)

Think about it this way, God doesn't want us to remain a 5th grader in our spiritual education, he wants us to grow and learn . He doesn't want you to just remain a babe in your faith. Its the same with your secular education, you need that education to help you grow into a productive adult. That education will help you as you proceed with your spiritual growth. Can you imagine if you didn't learn how to read? You wouldn't be able to read His Word.

Going back to school might be difficult ... have you considered alternative education programmes? Sometimes there are special classes and programmes available for teenagers who either don't fit with the regular school system or need extra support to complete their education. Or you might be able to complete high school through some sort of correspondence schooling / distance learning programme.

I think the main thing is, what are you doing at the moment? If you are working, building up a work history, have an apprenticeship, etc ... then it probably doesn't matter quite so much. If you want to go onto tertiary courses you can eventually enrol and just do a bridging programme to cover any gaps you may have between where you left off high school and where you enter university.

Going back to school doesn't have to be the only way to finish your education ... there are other ways that are just as good, if not better.

As a general statement though, we are to obey the laws of the land as Christians so ideally you should be at school ... however I think looking at the big picture is more important so the key is: What are you doing now instead of school and what is your plan for building a future for yourself? As a parent, that would concern me more than whether you were in school or not.
