CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
i love their music. i will not go as far as to judge them, for honest the best way to see if they were Christian or not without talking to them would be to read interviews on the matter. but still i really dig their lyrics.

i think KsE is okay. i don't really care if they're christian or not. i love the song Irreversal

Some of the lyrics on The End of Heartache could be Christian-oriented, but if you read liner notes and interviews, they don't sound like a typical Christian band. I generally like their music; the screaming vocals get old after a while, but I can deal with that.

I was trying to put it as politely as possible. If I had read one of their interviews without ever hearing their music, I wouldn't consider them to be anything remotely resembling a Christian-oriented band. Back to the subject, I think Killswitch Engage is definitely one of the more talented bands in the "New Wave of American Heavy Metal" movement, or whatever you want to call it. They actually know how to write songs and play their instruments.

i just flat out love KsE they just...are amazing musicians...i saw them live and i was just very impressed...very good band. and yes their lyrics are extremely spiritual.
