Ferus looked at the expressions on some of the Jedi's faces, and felt it too. Ferus thought "Who's that?" but decided not to say anything, and wait to see what happens.

((APY, welcome back, no, this is a different dinner. Actually more of a gathering. Knightstemplar's character Ravion was the Grand Master before me.))
Kaimelar suddenly grew quiet in the conversation with the other Jedi. He, too, had felt the presence, but he knew who it was.
Slowly, reverently, expectantly, the elf rose from his seat to face the door.
A hush fell over all in the Dining Hall.
Kaimelar idly waved his hand over table behind him, conjuring a silver goblet full of wine. Lifting it gently from the table, he slowly began to approach the door, stopping some ten steps from it. Everyone watched the door and waiting expectantly.
Mere smiled and leaned forward slightly at the question, looking over at Ravion. "Those of you who have already heard this will have to forgive the repetition. I'm sure you remember, Master Ravion, my rather sudden departure a couple years ago. After that departure, I travelled far and wide, learning and growing and changing a lot. I always longed to return to the Temple, but it was not possible. The will of the Force is sometimes mysterious, however, and the Force moves in strange and unexpected ways. I woke up one morning and sensed that the barriers preventing my return to the Temple had suddenly disappeared, and I hastened back. Seeing as how I arrived but shortly before you, I fear I cannot be of much help in the matter of what has happened recently." Having finished speaking, she sat back in her chair and took a sip of her water. There was more that could be said, but she had covered the important points.Ravion continues eating. ((I actaully just ate at Malibu Grill and am stuffed. I had french fries and a Philly cheesesteak, with like three Pibb Xtras)). He finishes his meal and leans back in his chair whilst manipulating the Force to get him something to drink. He pulls the cup to his hand and lifts it to his mouth, taking a long smooth drink of whatever it is that they had at the table. The liquid was semi-frozen, deep red, and tasted like strawberries raised off of sugar cane.
He smiled and sighed, "I missed you guys you know. I missed this place too. Tell me how each of you have been doing. What's been going on around here since I've been gone?"
Kaimelar returned to the table with Ravion and offered him the cup of wine. "I am glad you are back, my Master. I returned to the Temple shortly after Mere did. I had actually been here for quite some time, nearly since you left, but had been making small trips offworld occassionally. Not much has changed since you left, though we are attempting to bolster attendance and put out more information about our good order. I would be most interested in this new form of yours as well. Would you care to teach it to us? I would gladly put your lesson into a Temple-wide assembly."
((APY, that's awesome. I love it. Is it for Sigs, I assume? Can you do it with other saber hilts? Out of curiousity, can you make other stuff like that? I may have a job for you that would eventually comprise part of your Knighthood trials. But, first you need to train with your Master.))
Seeing Ravion get up and leave rather suddenly, Mere called out a question to his retreating back. "Should I be at that Jedi Council meeting? As I recall, I was on the Council before I left, but I'm not certain what my status is now...""Perhaps later, my friend. However, I would like to meet with the remaining members of the Jedi Council first. Please join me there later?" he said as he took the wine and drank it thankfully. Ravion stood up from the table, bowed, and left briskly. He didn't take time to notice the maintenance droid cleaning the cobwebs across the way.
The elevator shaft was dusty and seemed to be the most ancient part of the temple. Clearing the debris, Ravion presses the control panel's switch and it jets up to the top of the temple tower. The view was just as amazing as always. Clear vistas of the murals on the temple walls and the garden, which is the most taken care of part of the temple. The gardens were just as beautiful as he remembered with their golden flowers and crystal clear waterfalls which fell into pure lagoons. The green hills alongside the rivers were lush and still kept natural, yet well taken care of.
The Council doors towered in front of Ravion as he steps out of the elevator. With a push of the Force, the doors swooshed open. Ravion enterred to the middle of the room. He called up a small silver orb from the floor and suspended it in the middle of the room. Ravion sat on his old chair. A puff of dust rises from its cushion causing him to cough. Seems like dust really accumulates in two years...
Nodding in acknowledgement, Mere hastily gulped down the rest of her water before rushing off to the Council room, once again reminded of how glad she was to be back at the Temple.Master Ravion responded to Mere's question, "Yes. Please join us." Before he continued to the council room.
