Has anybody heard of or seen the Iron Chef?
My mum, daughter and I love to watch it on Saturday nights.

I love that show! My bro always watches it. He's going to school for culinary arts so when he has it on, I watch it with him.

We don't have satallite or cable, but we've seen it a couple of times other places. The last one I saw the secret ingrdient was this HUGE tropical fish.

Me, too. Those were awesome. But I do watch the new version and still like it a lot. I like Alton Brown.

I loved the old version. Part of the fun was the translation and seemingly odd ingredients. I like the new one too but they seem like they play it too safe on the secret ingredient with the american version.

Oh, yes, I love that show, too.

One of my favorite scenes from the American version was when Hannah Storm was one of the judges, and she told Alton Brown, "You don't microwave in plastic. What kind of food expert are you!?"

But I love the theatrics of the Japanese version as well.
