Hey GreenThumb. Where are you at in Canada? It was a blistering 32C about..today. Plus the humidity! we spent the day at Wonderland in the water park. The kids did some rides, but I was happy in the water park!

Hello HR! I'm all the way over here on the West Coast...in Abbotsford. Umm......32! Anything over 25 is too much for me. I'm glad you spent the day in the shade. That is where I would have been too.

Seeing you invited us HR, I just went and read your Blog. I hope you don't mind me quoting some of it here cos it is SO good! The Lord sure did meet with you:

-either He is Lord and King of ALL, all the time or He isn't.
-He will bring me through. He didn't say it would be easy or fast, but that I will come through.

-God, I heard You say, it is time of total surrender. It is a time to share in ALL His sufferings. Nothing easy or pleasing about it. He hasn't changed, nor has He white washed what He meant.

There are SO MANY good things in there that I want to bold them then write them again so that we ALL focus on them - and thus on HIM!!! Cos unless that's what we're doin' here, then The Inner Room will have totally lost it's purpose!

It's still pretty cool here Down Under as we move out of winter. Down to 6°C last night.

All of our summers are like many of you are having. Sometimes over 38°C and HIGH humidity month after month.

Many years ago I read what someone wrote about this. We have problems heating a room or a whole home, he said. But look how POWERFUL our great God is: He can heat a whole State or even Country to over 35° - without even trying! I thought that really helped us keep things from our daily experience in balance - AND praising Him for Who He is to us!!

Moriah - I should be doing this separately. Are you saying that He doesn't help you like Cindy's verse from the Amp said? He does help all who come to Him - but in my long experience it's not necessarily how we expect! - cos His ways are not our ways as the Word says. Not an easy matter at all...

And it is our problem cos you're part of the IR and everyone here gets equal care, love and attention - and prayer. Yes, I know your situation and experiences are VERY different from those of most of us, much we'd not understand, and much we could not (and should not) do here. BUT we will do everything we can to uphold you, because you are very precious to us!

We want to reduce God down to our human level, behaving like us - He's FAR too great for that! Let Him be GOD in our lives I say. That's Who we need - not some kind of pathetic copy of ourselves!

Hi J4Jesus! Yeah, he's a funny lil critter that one. Sort of got a mind of his own (the term 'mind' used loosely there *hehe*) so he seems to just pop up now and then - mostly when not expected.

Quite well actually. I didn't have long to wait, either. I was waiting to see how long it took the plaster on a certain mask to crack and reveal the hideous thing beneath it. LOL. Didn't take long at all.

Oh and I found out the horrible visions i was force fed for three hours last night were partially incorrect in the best way possible.

If only that were true, but alas, there is a wolf in your midst and you know it not. There is one to whom I am not only not precious but counted as dung to be trampled and kicked, who seeks to harm me out of sight where your eyes do not go. It is a liar and deceiver making a pretense to be with God while secretly sharpening knives with which to cut me open and seeking to come against me. I realize your ministry focuses on encouragement, and that is a good thing. I realize your ministry seeks to give equal care, love, etc. to all who come and THAT is a good thing. What is not a good thing is for you to be played for a fool for those noble intents by something so void of redeeming qualities even I, the vilest of the vile, the resident daimonizomai, am disgusted by it.

I know I haven't been here long but I just received a call from my husband. His coworker's brother is dying from the same thing that our Josh died from - an overdose after being pulled over by the police. He is being airlifted to a nearby hospital and is not expected to make it. I have no idea if this young man is saved or not. PLEASE help us pray for this young man - his name is Jeff.

Hi Karenjoy - yes thank you. It's good to be away from work for a while. I will have to work a little, but mostly so far I've been spending time with friends, especially visiting those who have had babies. It's our wedding anniversary today, so we're spending the day together, and we're going to make bread and ice-cream because we never get around to doing things like that usually!

He does not lie. This Word is true for ever, it is tried. As metals are refined, so is His Word. It is pure. He cannot fail. If there is a problem we have to look somewhere else. It is not with God.

Yes, that was fine! God is so good. I just had to quiet my spirit a bit to hear! LOL..and that is funny considering we were in a very crowded, very noisey park! but it was ME that had to be quiet to hear. God is neat that way! I praise Him for what He showed me.
