He left His throne in glory and took upon Himself human flesh. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born by virgin birth to a young girl called Mary!

From angels bending near the earth

From heaven's all- gracious King!

What an awesome opportunity Christmas is to share the joy of the gospel!

So humble a birth but angels paved the way for the Son of God to come to earth. Shepherds bowed in worship. Later,wise men adored Him. We bow our knees to the One we adore!

Jesus was born to persecution. He was in danger from birth. King Herod wanted Him dead. But God was with this Child and safety was provided for the humble gift of God!
