Hi folks! I have an idea here for both the men and the women. Anybody out there feeling fabulously FLABBY and forty?
Anybody see the Holidays scuhreeeaaamin' at ya, superloaded with calories?
Well, before kids I was in great shape, and I have been trying to get back to something reasonable for the past 9 years. I have been able to maintain, but it's tough, and let's face it, life takes over, and metabolism takes over, and sometimes we need some support.
I am not promoting a diet here. I actually have never believed in strict diets. I am suggesting we have a support thread here for making healthy choices, with our main focus on being as active as we can and enjoying it. Let's take a "consume what is personally healthy for you (with a treat now and then so we don't go insane) and burn it in ways we all enjoy!" approach.
For those who want in, try to post every day what you are going to do to, then post when you did it. If you feel you need encouragement, put it on here. We can all cheer each other on.
Especially for activities, do something you enjoy. For healthy food choices, it may help to list something healthy you love to eat instead.
We may not lose any flab, but we just might make it through the Holidays without gaining! We might feel stronger next week than we did today!
Everyone is welcome, whatever you do, just be good to yourself.
And, remember, God knows if you are being honest!
