I am a little disappointed that no one seems to want to put any sort of effort into doing a study on the Hittites. It would seem that science has the most to gain from this one.
It seems the Hittites showed up about 4000 years ago, in what is now modern Turkey. They were a fierce people, dreaded even by the Egyptians for their abilty to fight a war with their chariots. They had developed iron, they had a system of astronomy, they invented the first iron and wood wheel, and most important of all, they were farmers. With their ability to wage a war, they took over some of the best farm land available at the time, and managed to hold onto it for at least 1000 years.
Christians have long believed that they most likly decended from Noah through his son Ham. But there is evidence in Egypt, that the Hittites were a yellow skinned Mongolian people. So it seems to me that evolutionists would have the most to gain, if they could show that the Hittites were an Asian people who migrated to the furtile cresent from the east, and did not decend from Noah at all.
It would look to me like evolutionists do not want to back up what they say with any real evidence. Just a lot of speculation. But with all the DNA research looking into the genologys of man. Science is going to need to get over their generalities and start to get their findings to line up with what we already historically know from Anthropology and Archeology and ancient written records.
The Chaldean's and the Assyrian's go back just about as far as the Hittites do, and there are still quite a few Chaldeans and Assyrians alive in Iraq today. In fact the capital of Chaldea: Ur is said to be one of the best preserved ancient cities today.
