and no shrub of the field is yet in the earth, and no herb of the field yet sprouteth,
for the head El-o-hym caused it to not rained upon the earth, and Adam is not (to serve the Adamah)

And El-o-hym said, Let there be light
and firebrands went up from the Adamah, and liquified the whole face of the Adamah.
And the head El-o-hym dug the Adam from the Adamah, and blew into his face breath living ones, and becometh the Adam to soul living.

And the head El-o-hym planted a garden eastward in Rheden;
And made grow the head El-o-hym out of the Adamah every Rhod that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food;
the rhod of uprightness and the "head[1] rhod" knowing good and evil also in the middle of the garden.

the head El-o-hym said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.
And out of the ground the head El-o-hym formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air;
And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field

but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him.
And the head El-o-hym caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept:
and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
And the rib, which the head El-o-hym had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

And the head El-o-hym layeth a charge on the man, saying, `Of every Rhod of the garden eating thou dost eat;
and of the Rhod knowing good and evil, thou dost eat of it, not, dying thou dost die in the day of thine eating of it'

And the woman said unto the serpent, `Of the fruit of the Rhods of the garden we do eat,
But of the fruit of the Rhod which is in the middle of the garden, El-o-hym has said,
"Ye shall eat of it not; ye shall die"

And the serpent said unto the woman,
"Ye shall eat of it; not ye shall die for knowing El-o-hym".
For in the day you eat thereof your eyes shall be opened.
And [because you wont die] you shall be like El-o-hym

Knowing good and evil, the woman saw that the Rhod was good for food,
and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a Rhod to be desired to make one wise,
she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat.

And the head El-o-hym said to the woman, `What [is] this you have done?'
and the woman said, `The (sneaky) snake snaked me -- and I did eat

Old English heafod "top of the body," also "upper end of a slope," also "chief person, leader, ruler; capital city," from Proto-Germanic *haubudam (cognates: Old Saxon hobid, Old Norse hofuð, Old Frisian haved, Middle Dutch hovet, Dutch hoofd, Old High German houbit, German Haupt, Gothic haubiþ "head"), from PIE *kaput- "head" (cognates: Sanskrit kaput-, Latin caput "head").
