Well, one of the hard drives in my old machine finally committed suicide. R.I.P.
It was ten years old.
Fortunately, it wasn't the one with the OS on it. Now I get to show my brother what the inside of a hard drive looks like
While replacing it, though, the blasted machine demanded a blood sacrifice to start working again -- I am missing a few chunks of flesh from my knuckles thanks to a badly designed case.
Any other hardware-repair horror stories out there?
