Barry, you just made me smile, because you reminded me of a text message I once received out of the clear blue one afternoon from my sweetie-pie husband, which read:

Jesus loves you, and so do I.

It's far too beautiful a season to have Grinches around. Cheer up, Rufe, and know that not only Jesus but ALL of us love you.

Love "the spirit" of the season and enjoy listening to the Christmas carols, especially the more "devotional" or "praise and worship" type ones .... don't really get into all the other "Christmas" stuff though; haven't for many years. Maybe I outgrew it when I outgrew Santa Clause. Could blame it on my daughter's death (as her birthday is also coming up) but I think I sort of dropped out of Christmas even before that - at least to some degree. Maybe that just sealed the deal making this season about other things, as well, now.

So CHEER UP and

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS.
