I offer a simple, yet difficult, question for you to consider:
What are the 'eternal power and divinity of God' revealed to men both in the natural creation and the person and work of Christ?
"Because what is known of God is manifest among them, for God has manifested it to them, for from the worlds creation the invisible things of him are perceived, being apprehended by the mind through the things that are made, both his eternal power and divinity, so as to render them inexcusable. Because, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but fell into folly in their thoughts, and their heart without understanding was darkened:"
(Romans 1:19-21)

There is a second question that follows logicaly:
How do you know?
A Voice in the Wilderness
Evidences offered as proof of the content and credibility of the Gospel:
"Beginning of the glad tidings of Jesus Christ, Son of God; as it is written in Isaiah the prophet, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way. Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight"
(Mark 1:1-3)
The coming of Christ is the fullfillment of predictive prophecy.
The Garden of God
"And no one puts new wine into old skins; otherwise the wine bursts the skins, and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but new wine is to be put into new skins."
(Mark 2:22)
The fruit of the Gospel is righteousness (aka being born again, see John 3:3-16)
The Wall of Seperation
" And if a house has become divided against itself, that house cannot subsist. (Mark 3:25)... but whosoever shall speak injuriously against the Holy Spirit, to eternity has no forgiveness; but lies under the guilt of an everlasting sin;"(Mark 3:29)
Those who reject and deny the Gospel are seperated from God forever (aka perdition, see Rev. 22:11-16).
The opening chapters of Mark represent the most important claims in all of Scripture. The promised Messiah came to reveal the way to God through the widerness of sin and worldly temptation to the righteousness of God in Christ (see Romans 3:21). Those with eyes to see recieve the revelation of eternal God and the righteousness of God as a work of the Holy Spirit of promise. Those who harden their hearts and deny the Gospel are condemed to eternal darkness and contempt.
My prayer for you is that:
"God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of him, being enlightened in the eyes of your heart, so that ye should know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,"
(Ephesians 1:17,18 )
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all,
Mark
