CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Middle and Old English had extra letters we have now lost: the eth, wynn, yogh and thorn. They represented the th sound and the w. When printing came along, they used movable type that obviously lacked these letters, coming from the continent, so they substituted y for thorn and z for yogh. So this has lead to a lot of mispronounced names and creation of new words. The best examples are ye old shoppe, where the ye is really the; or Mackenzie or Menzies, which should really be said Mackengie and Mengies.

We had a plastic baby rattle with a smiling plastic sun, with all kinds of triangles and symbols around it. Needless to say, I promptly named it Inti, after the Incan sun god.

Did an image search for "jetlag", and this was near the top of the results. Haven't a clue, not a clue.
ETA: Further research indicates that apparently there's a European furniture company named Jetlag (makes perfect sense), and apparently this is furniture, or what hip Europeans consider furniture.
