Yeah, NMBC are having an evngelistic thing this weekend - they've got a concert thing tomorrow night with Christian bands playing. I'm not gonna be able to make it at all though

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i used to go every year and v festival too we saw a bit of it on tv and i missed keane and some other good bands id love to have seen, noboby good comes to t in the park do they ?
nah but i love glasgow you have so many bands coming to the secc/ barrowlands etc, its great to be in a city where you can see anyone and go to the cinema whenever, i grew up in a small town where there was nowt to do at the best of times so i really appreciate where i am now alot of glaswegians take their city for granted, alot of them get depressed about where they are but they really should appreciate the variety of whats here dont you think ? even if its just sitting in one of the parks !
job opportunities are fantastic compared to where i came from im so lucky to be here

Its good to live in a city were you have lots to see and do, I have lived in inner city Glasgow all my life sometimes I wished I lived in a small town and then maybe my youth wouldnt have been as crazy as it was.
Glasgow is a nice city and has some very nice parts to it, and some not so good I suppose like any big city in the uk.

wasnt he in the paper recently for hawking pirate dvds and stuff, i havent really watched still game much but i have all the chewing the fat series on dvd thats the funniest thing ever !
hey talking of which i saw ford kiernan just down the road outside the safeway store a while ago but was too chicken to go up n kiss his feet LOL !
my boyfriend and myself just watched were he went into the video store and then into the cycle shop and peered at him through the window, he did look pretty fierce

I've seen mark Cox from Chewin the fat/Still game before. He plays Tam in Still Game and is the guy with the glasses in CTF. I was driving through Maryhill and he cycled past me. Kinda took a double take before pulling off road to text my pals!
