  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

This thread having dealt sucessfully with Question 2, I thought it was about time to focus on Question 1. :D

I have had people mumble at me about Christian Bookshops in Glasgow but the only other one besides Wesley Owen (that I can think of anyhoo) is Cornerstone. Not even sure if its still there :(

Addy is: Renfield St Stephen's Church Centre, 260 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4JP

Website: www.cornerstonebooks.org.uk

Also found this site - although its nationwide and you'd need quite a bit of time to go through it I think...

http://www.christianbookshops.org.uk/shopmain.htm

Hope its of some help :D

Thanks! I didn't know about that Cornerstone place, have you been in there? I'll try to check it out at the weekend.

There is also the Free Presbyterian Bookroom on Woodlands Road.

Yeah me and some pals from church went, it was just my cup of tea that afternoon. We were quite near the back, behind the wee sound tent. The sound wasn't that great from back there though, that was only the second time I've managed to see them.
