CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I blame this idea on watching the last 5 minutes of Restoration on BBC2 last night...but perhaps we could have suggested it to be...er...restored.

Either that or we need some kind of silly DIY program like Changing Rooms. A couple of bits of MDF, Handy Andy and a can of paint and hey presto you've got a brand spanking new Botanical Cafe...or something.

This thread having dealt sucessfully with Question 2, I thought it was about time to focus on Question 1. :D

I have had people mumble at me about Christian Bookshops in Glasgow but the only other one besides Wesley Owen (that I can think of anyhoo) is Cornerstone. Not even sure if its still there :(

Cold and windy? It is Glasgow you know! ^_^

Anyway they're usually pretty good those open-top tour things. Although apparently one of the Glasgow ones has been telling people that the church I go to is disused!

lol Now, now...don't tease. Who knows when you might need someone to make you a dining table and matching chairs from a few MDF cutoffs?
