  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We took on some neds at football tonight :D Was so funny... they were like... 'haw... ya pure mad bible bashers man! We'll huv ye!'... what they didn't know was I've had trails for Manchested United, and played a little for Barcalona lol! The other guys are all VERY good footballers too, better than me in some cases. We proceded to take them apart :D Was cool, had some good friendly banter, and God really used the friendly atmosphere to work through us :D I loved it!

You have no idea who Belle and Sebastian are? You are kidding me right???

If anyone else was in the Botanics on sat afternoon I hope you had a good a time as I did. We sat in the gardens from 3 till 8.30 listening to some great music (not all of it was great I have to admit). Anyone know who the bands were? I got knew James Orr Complex, V-Twin, The Trash Can Sinatras, (possibly) The Pastels and (definately) Belle and Sebastian. It was a fabulous afternoon, just my cup of tea!
