Where / what is Xscape?

It's an indoor activity centre out at Braehead - loads of different activities, but a bit pricey I've heard.

I saw it through the window; doesn't look that fun, compared to actual slopes. I'd imagine it would get rather boring to be slowly dragged up and then go down in a straight, not overly steep line for about 15 seconds.


I'm waiting for January to go to an actual place, myself.

Well I'm going to Switzerland in january so I wanted to get some practice in before I go. I'll be giving it a go in the next few weeks and will report back!

As for the place itself, I met a friend for coffee at the O'briens there and it was pretty dead. The restaurants were practically empty there weren't a lot of folk about. Having sadi that it was a week night.

I'd imagine it would be busier if it was connected to Braehead. People probably prefer to just eat there.

My kids have been there for various things - there in an indoor crazy golf course which they went to with the Youth Fellowship - apparently that is "wicked" I know my daughter wants to try the ice-climbing, the fan drop and the sky park - which is some kind of assault course up high? She is an activity loving type gal and she thinks the place rocks....pity she can't pay herself in....

Yeah i guess it might be busier if it was part of the same complex as the main Braehead building. Plus it would definately be busier if it wasn't so pricey, £21/hour for adult peak times!!
