Global Week of Action for Trade Justice is from 10-16 April 2005, so for those interested I thought I might post some details of Glasgow events.
Glasgow
Description: TJM Scotland are planning to have a week-long presence in Glasgow's Buchanan Street (near the Concert Hall) to mark the Global Week of Action (GWA). There will be a permanent stall from 10am to 6pm from Mon 11-Thursday 14 where people can cast their vote for Trade Justice and take part in activities. On each of the days, there will be a different focus for stunts and activites based on the different issues covered by the GWA - food, livelihoods, water and health. Anyone is welcome to come along and help out on any of the days.
At 12pm on Thursday 14, representatives from all faiths in Scotland have been invited to come and vote publically for Trade Justice. They will also form a human X on the concert hall steps as part of a media event to demonstrate their commitment to trade justice.
A bus from Glasgow on Friday 15 has also been organised to take any interested supporters down to the London vigil (returning Saturday 16).
