For some reason I had thought the gig was on friday night and I was at a wedding, otherwise when the tickets came out I would have got one. Anyway I saw some of it last night but was surprised that so much of it was acoustic. Does anyone know what the reason behind this was? Hearing Idlewild play acoustically was umm.... interesting!

big ups to the incredibly talented and relentless busker in sauchiehall street most saturdays (and often weekdays too as i can hear his excellent strumming wafting in through the doors at work) playing his 'honky tonk' guitar... hes very popular, were often among a whole crowd of people standing listening to him

if you dont know who i mean, hes the guy with long grey hair tied back in a pony tail sitting outside marks n spencers or the now empty poundworld shop, very talented indeed !
