Five Lectures by Principle Donald MacLeod on 'The Great Commission: Principles & Practice'

29th October 2004 - Making Disciples
26th November 2004 - Reaching the Nations
4th February 2005 - Baptising
18th March 2005 - Teaching
1st April 2005 - Why Mission, and why now?

At the end of each lecture there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion followed by tea and coffee.

Venue: St Vincent Street-Milton Free Church, 265 St Vincent Street, Glasgow

Starting time for each of the lectures will be 7.30pm.

By the way I am a professional ned tamer for the Church of Scotland (brigton branch) so if you need any general info info I'll see what I can do.

how do you go about taming neds??

Can't really discuss that here - would incriminate myself!!

Only joking, I don't know if taming them is really the right word - they become accustomed to you, but they're still, you know, wild! I work with between 30 and 60 kids in barrowfield / brigton area and they certainly keep me on my toes! (And although I'm cheeky about them they're not all neds!)

i love the "neds" wherei live... most if them are really decent

Some of the neds where I work are fine, the ones where I live are a nightmare. Always breaking windows lying in the street intimidating old ladies etc. Slashed my wife's tyres the other day - two of them anyway. Our neighbour pointed them out - we got the police, but cause they were only about 10 the police wouldn't do anything!

Our kids start with tots of about 2 that come accross with mums and dads, or elder siblings and go up to about 15
