The Futureheads

Hey, anybody here into these Sunderland lads? Great band, and there live show is fantastic. I caught them last time they played here, Neumo's in Seattle. And a before-show deal at Easy Street Records where they played an acoustic set. Such a fun band, with great, original music.

"There", "Their", and "They're" are three different words. They are not to be used interchangeably.

As for the Futureheads: great stuff. I always hear them compared to Franz Ferdinand, but The Futureheads are far more interesting.

Franz Ferdinand!? Since when is 4-part vocal harmony similiar to Franz Ferdinand? Heh, I'd say other than being from the same nation, they're fairly different. Franz Ferdinand gets major credit for some cool songwriting, but what the Futureheads do is very cool, and difficult to work together.

i love franz ferdinand, but the same album over and over...it's getting a bit boring now, where's their new stuff eh?

That's sort of what I was getting at. I hear lots of people compare them to Franz Ferdinand, but I think the Futureheads do more interesting things (i.e. four part harmony). They both play dancy indie rock, so I can see how there would be some comparisons.
