Myself and most TEs I know would affirm this. Which makes the following quote all the more incongruous:

I don't say this to knock liberal theologians, but I do think it undermines a lot of the idea that evolution is inherently liberal. It's true, with the influence of the Fundamentalists conservatism in America has changed pretty drastically. But if by conservative one means conservatism aside from 20th century developments, then there doesn't seem to be anything inherently contradictory between conservative theology and the theory of evolution.

That's not how one should handle himself. I don't know why you're so frightened of admitting that you might be wrong - you shouldn't be. It's not like any of us are perfect. Spam threads are meant to be derailed. If AV wants to come on these forums post a bunch of links then run away hoping we read them all, and waste our time responding to the air, then we should derail the thread and go off topic, and call everyone atheist and liberal.
