The Frog Princess
So, each day I sit on a lily pad thinking of my past and wondering if I will ever be freed from this spell.
One day I felt so lonely that I decided to sing something. I hoped I would feel better if I lost my self in music. So, I started singing a favorite song and already I started to feel better. I became so absorbed in singing that I didnt notice a man climb over the castle wall and walk toward me. Nor did I notice he was listening intently to my song. I finished singing and gasped when I saw the stranger.
Oh, I didnt see you, said I. Who was he, I wondered, and what would he think of a frog singing in human speech?
Then he bent down and kissed me. I leaped off my pad, out of the pond and onto the grass next to him. I could feel something happening to me! I blinked. I was myself again! I was human!!
I am eternally in your debt, I said. I am Princess Alison. You have made my dreams come true.

Oh, forgive me, I am Prince Frederic, he said.
Prince! He was a Prince!!
I have never been in love, I finally answered.

No frog can sing like you just did. I dont believe you are a frog, he said.

So, I was freed from the spell and married Prince Frederick.
