Lol, what? That definition of life not only excludes rocks, but it excludes all single celled organisms, simple animals such as jellyfish and sponges, as well as all plants and fungi.
Even if your definition of having blood amounts to simply "containing fluid", this definitely doesn't cover most rocks but would mean you consider clouds to be alive, weirdly enough. And it certainly isn't a modern definition of life in any sense, heck, it's not even on the level of defining humans as "a featherless biped". Shall I fill a geode with blood, cover it in feathers, and behold a new species? I don't think so.
