Yes, you said that, but you didn't explain it in a way that was either coherent or useful in anyway.

Of course it is useful, and is even critical.
Just like human population, you can not just have birth without having death. New rocks are born every day, so old rocks have to die in an equal pace. Otherwise, the earth will be flooded with rocks.

Your examples of rock are laughable. You are talking about two rocks and they have no relationship to each other.

You do not understand rock.
That is why you do not see rock as a life. Even I told you how, you still don't get it. And, for the worse, you do not know how to ask (explore). You only get the information you asked for.

Do you REALLY think rocks are alive?

No.
But my reasons say so.
You need to defeat my reasons to make me admit that rock is not alive.

Your reasons say there is no God.
But you still can believe in God.

I bet if I were to live in the US I could sue you because I feel like I'm losing brain cells just by reading your vapid responses.

The point you are ignoring is that individual types of rocks are not the source of new rocks off that type.

That's a pretty fundamental attribute of life.

Is it vanity or solipsism that's driving you in this argument?

I guess barbies are alive too, then.
They were "born" in the factory. And at least one "died" back when I was little... It was my sister's and I had no choice... I HAD to cut its head off, because it was about to destroy Grayskull Castle.

You already admitted it. In this very post. By answering "no" to the question if you really believe they are alive.

Any rock can give birth to the same kind of rock or many other kinds of rock.
That is how the life in the rock world looks like. It does not have to mirror human life.

Good, you thinking makes you understand rock a little more.

Indeed!
Just take a rock, any rock.
Smash it with a hammer.
Now you have 2 rocks that came from the first rock.

REPRODUCTION!

Not bad. See if you can develop more on this model. Don't forget the microscopic world is important to any form of life.

Are you being this idiotic on purpose? Because there is no way that you yourself believe this.

Give me a single circumstance where that is possible. Details.

Because I think you are spouting nonsense because you think you are superior and don't want to admit that people have poked holes in your "witty" retort to the definition of life.

OK, a single simplest example. Hope you can understand.
(previous) rock melted (died) and the lava erupted through a volcano. New rock is born.
