  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The object of this game is simple - answer the post above. One caveat though - you cannot use the words "yes", "no", or "sometimes" or any variation of them. For example, to the question:

Do you eat raspberries?

the answer "yes (yep, yeah, etc.), I do" is WRONG.

the answer "I love raspberries and eat them all the time!" is RIGHT.

When I think of things that I enjoy...funny, but cooking isn't even on the list.

(Regarding the England question) Since 9-11...I have had no inclination to fly anywhere. And before 9-11...I really didn't have the money or the time. I would like to someday though. But, I don't want to be on a weapon of mass destruction to get there. So, I don't know how it will ever happen.

Do you like when people just pop by for a visit without calling you first?
