That is how God preserves a people from rebellion and unbelief. That day is coming again. HooRah!! I have total confidence in His vindication and vengeance. It will be righteous and honorable and everyone who deserves it will receive it. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Yes, I'm sure you are hoping He will start with these people:

You guys wonder WHY we don't listen to YOUR so called evidence. It's because we don't TRUST you. You conive, twist, misrepresent, and even lie. You know it, we know it. You wonder why we don't believe scientists. You guys tell me you are scientists and you conive, twist, misrepresent and then you expect me to believe scientists.

I think I'm starting to fell that "love" you have for us already.

I will end by quoting the Great Jedi Master, Yoda:

"Fear leads to Anger
Anger leads to Hate.
Hate leads to suffering."

Not to wisdom, I might add.

They are exempt from the Ten Commandments as applicable.

Can you imagine what it would be like to be in their "moral" hands. David the King of Israel said he would rather be in God's hands than man's.

2Sa 24:14 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

Great example there.

Because of David's sin, God killed 70,000 with a plague because David pansied out and took the option that didn't involve him personally.

Oh, and in the first verse of that chapter, it says that God "moved David against them", so it wasn't even David's fault to begin with.

And you worship this...thing? And call him more moral?

One of the biggest [noticeable] things that changed in my wife's and my lives when we got saved, is the sanctity of holidays.

A holiday just isn't a holiday without Jesus; and when we look back on them, it's like looking at a ... no pun intended here ... ghost town.

JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!

Weird someone would prefer to be in the hands of something (supposedly) that has killed millions and has millions more in eternal torment.

Heck, I wouldnt do that.

I would consider making yecs meet all their ancestors, especially the more ancient ones. The generations and generations of the ones whose patient struggle and painful sacrifices made the yecs lives now, possible. Then the yecs turn around and deny those ancestors ever even existed!

They would have to do some explaining and apologizing.

Yes, it was -- you're forgetting the third verse.

2 Samuel 24:3 And Joab said unto the king, Now the LORD thy God add unto the people, how many soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing?
2 Samuel 24:4 Notwithstanding the king's word prevailed against Joab, and against the captains of the host.

A situation which wouldn't have arisen if God hadn't moved David.

Um ... you mean God let Satan move David, don't you?

And for the record, David wasn't Mr. Innocent -- he had the final say.

We call that freewill -- a concept I don't think you guys really understand.

Not what the Bible literally says, or are you doubting it?

And for the record, David wasn't Mr. Innocent -- he had the final say.

And God then went through and did what David preferred, so again, the buck stops at him.

Not half we don't, if you think being "moved" is equivalent to free will.

Let me try. You are a share holder of a company. It's time to vote how to spend the profit. There are (for simplicity) 2 options:
1. Reinvest the money in the company to help its growth
2. Give it as dividends.

Free will is the ability to choose one of the options above (or any other if there were such).

And conversely, these guys would consider making the above choice with a gun to your head "free".

Let's do it. Name the time and place.

BTW, he's god, so, what need would he have for patience or pain? Just sayn'.

Name the time and place.
You'd need a time machine for that -- but sure, here's both:

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
