What was the first CD you bought?

The first album I bought was Tragic Kingdom, by No Doubt. Before that I bought the single Lemon Tree, by Fools Garden, and Mark Owens Clementine.

I believe it was Weak, by SWV, back in I think 1992 or 1993. Not sure which.

The first cassette I bought was Weird Al's "The Food Album". The first cd I bought was Ozzy's "Tribute to Randy Rhoads" live cd.

I got DC Talk's Jesus Freak for Christmas many years ago. I also got my first cd player that year. I listened to that album constantly (I didn't really have a choice, it was my only cd at the time). Haha. Bad/fond memories.

LotR: FotR soundtrack my parents aren't that big on secular music, and i didn't realy get hooked on it until a few years ago. but the first music would be Yellow Submarine by The Beatles, the album, not the soundtrack .

the first cd i ever got was no doubt's "tragic kingdom." the first cd i ever paid for on my own was the soundtrack to my best friend's wedding. haha.

My first CD was the very first Matchbox 20 CD. I can't remember what the title of it was, but I got it for Christmas one year. I really liked the "real world" song. I think it was back in the 6th grade when I got it.
