The more I think about it the less certain i et about what was hte forst record or CD I bought. For some reason I'm now thinking the first CD may have been the Cult and not the Sisters of Mercy but I honestly can't be certain.

(I'll probably find out it was something embarrasing like Enya or the Bonzo dog Do da band!* )

well thank you. I like your nick and subtitle too :o) I love traditional gothic music, especially from modern bands like Cinema Strange & Frank the Baptist and so on.. I group trad Goth & deathrock in the same group but i've met a few people that are very strict about how they define it.

Have you gone to any of the Drop Dead festivals? I went to the first two.. i may not go this year due to the fact that I'm moving and wont have money. Nina Hagen is headlining this year! I so wanted to go.

I live in the UK so I've been to mos of the UK festivals (Whitby Goth Weekend, Vampyria, Dance macabre, Dracula society ball etc...), I DJ one of them (The WDS masquarade).

Ah, I've heard of Whitby but not the others. Have you ever been to Cavey Nik's thing? I think its called Dance Hall Poison or something to that effect.
