I wanted you guys to be the first to know (after DH, of course) that I'm pregnant!
I got to noticing that my period was due last Wednesday, so yesterday I bought a test, all the time telling myself that it was silly of me to waste the money on it.

Sure enough, two pink lines as clear as day. SO I did a calculator, and my due date is Oct 10. My baby will be 14 months old Oct 20th, so this is my closest set yet. And here DH and I thought we were so smart, trying to space them out a bit and give my body a rest.
The day it happened, I noticed my mucus beginning to thicken, but it wasn't all stretchy until 3 days later, so I don't know... Glad God does!
We won't be telling "real" people (sorry guys, LOL) for a while yet, if we can help it.
As it stands, DH isn't supposed to be here in October. He thinks they might let him out of the deployment for the baby, but I'm not too hopeful about that. We'll have to wait and see. But, if he does get out of it, we'll need to get a midwife here. If he doesn't, I'm going to rent a house near my family for while he's gone, and I hope I can talk my sister into attending the birth. She is an RN who works in the delivery and nursery at her hospital. Maybe we'll go ahead and get the midwife here, and he'll give us a refund if I leave. hmm. have to talk about that.
JGonz, you know about health and nutrition stuff, right? What do you think about
this? Would the juice plus be a good supplement for pregnancy? I did go ahead and take my prenatals yesterday and today (left over from baby; I forget to take the things!).
That's the other thing. My baby (5 months) is all but exclusively breastfed. She's had cereal 1 time (she was up all night that night, so we decided to wait a bit before trying again) and applesauce twice. DO I try to push the solids? Go to formula (gag!), or just keep nursing? Can I really support all three of us? I know I have no room for 'empty' calories now.
Well, this is getting to be a long announcement. ha. I guess I'll quit now. hugs
