Once again you prove you are not prepared to do the research. God does NOT tell you that He created two great lights. That's an English translation of the Hebrew word "maor" which also means "luminary"
That's what it says in Genesis "maor" - light, luminary. You are inventing your own interpretation, not reading what scripture actually says. and what's more you are being stubborn about it despite the evidence that you are wrong. What ever it say's in Genesis 1 is good enough for me.
That's a forecast, not a report of actual conditions now.
That's what it says in Genesis "maor" - light, luminary.
No. A forecast is merely predicting the weather according to what is known. If you bring an umbrella with you when you leave the house because it says in the weather forecast that it will rain, are you then against God's law? You're not making any sense. So It's a forecast now ? Isn't that against God's law ?
No. A forecast is merely predicting the weather according to what is known
No, read the meaning of the original word again and stop being so stubborn:
Why does He predict in Scripture then with prophecy?
That's English - "luminary". It's an English word. And Genesis was not written in English. It was written in Hebrew.
Hebrew to English dictionaries, which is what Strong's is. And if you believe that Genesis 1 is literally true and God's own words, then you are obliged to read and study what it actually says, not what you want it to say.How am I supposed to know what the what the Hebrew words mean ? I don't go to the Bible find words that mean something else.
Weather forecasting is not fortune telling. There's nothing spiritual about it.
"And God saith, `Let luminaries be in the expanse of the heavens, to make a separation between the day and the night, then they have been for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years," Genesis 1:14 YLT
Really? I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic. If you have evidence that a weather forecast is the result of sorcery or witches then show me. That's the type of future telling that God forbids. But forecasting the weather based on charts and maps of what the weather is doing around the world is not sorcery.Oh so forecasting is OK ? Okay i'll remember this.........
Read the verse, research the original meaning of the words used. That's Bible study. All you're doing is reading without study. That's not going to give you a proper understanding God's word.Oh so God didn't create two great light ?
Read the verse, research the original meaning of the words used.
