In Revelation, a mouth is given to the First Beast.
I think the Second Beast and the little-horn of the First Beast are the same person.
Because in Daniel, there is no two-beast combination in the Fourth Beast description.
So then, Daniel's little-horn is the Second Beast in Revelation, aka Revelation's little-horn.
Make sense?
Everything we believe in should have at least one scripture to support it.
So for the person to be the Antichrist - he has to become the King of Israel coming in his own name.
It is not "copy" everything Christ did or was.He doesn't have to copy everything Christ did or was.
He was a King, but of a kingdom not on Earth. When he returns he will be the King of Kings, King of the whole world and not just Israel.
Not as the Antichrist.... King of Israel, coming in his own name. But as the beast, dictator of the fourth kingdom, and the world. The antichrist will also be the King of the whole world not just Israel.
Paul's man of sin is Revelation's false prophet:
Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received
the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Here we read of the second beast, who performed miracles in the sight of the first beast and performing those miracles in order to deceive the people!
Paul's Antichrist is called the man of sin and he is described as doing the same things for the same reason as the false prophet:
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2Th 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

"Lying wonders" is the same as "deceiving miracles".
The false prophet and the man of sin are the same person, the Antichrist.
Another connection between them:
Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
These horns are little horns of a young lamb which is a direct reference to the little horn Daniel wrote of who is also the one we know as the Antichrist.
lamb:
G721
arnion
ar-nee'-on
Diminutive from G704; a lambkin: - lamb.

The little horn of Daniel is commonly believed to be the antichrist John wrote about and in Revelation there is a person with two little horns who appears after the ten horned beast just as the little horn in Daniel appears after the ten horned beast. Clearly the same person is in mind here.
Daniel - ten horned beast arises, little horn comes next and is the person of authority and power over the ten horned beast. Little horn is the antichrist.
Revelation - ten horned beast arises, false prophet comes next and is the person of authority and power over the ten horned beast. False prophet is the antichrist.
Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Rev 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.,
Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Not only does the second beast exercise ALL of the power of the first beast, he is the only one performing miracles by which he not the first beast deceived the world. He is the one who commands an image of the first beast to be made and causes it to come alive because of his tremendous God-like powers. He also decides who will be killed. He makes people receive the mark and that controls who can buy and sell.
Clearly the second beast is the primary ruler and highest authority.
Jesus was both the Christ and a prophet. The Antichrist will also be both christ and prophet but will be a liar on both accounts. John wrote about an Antichrist that would come. In Revelation he uses a different terminology for this same person calling him a false prophet but he is the same person he called the Antichrist. This person has many names in scripture.
The ten horned kingdom is not the AC in either book. The AC is always the one who comes AFTER the ten horned beast.
Same ten horned beast in both books and it is always a large Empire composed of Kings and kingdoms with 1 singular person ruling over it all and that person is the same person in both books called the little horn and false prophet.
If there is no Antichrist here, "Daniel - ten horned beast arises." then it is the same for Revelation.
No Antichrist in this ten horned beast either, "Revelation - ten horned beast arises"
The Antichrist is always the singular person that is introduced after the ten horned beast:
Daniel - ten horned beast arises, little horn
Revelation - ten horned beast arises, false prophet
Same order of introduction. Neither book uses the term "Antichrist" but he is mentioned nonetheless.
The names of the one we normally call the Antichrist:
1st and 2nd John -antichrist
2 Thessalonians -man of sin
2 Thessalonians -that Wicked
2 Thessalonians -the son of perdition
Daniel -little horn
Revelation -false prophet
Many names but he is still the same person.
I understand your logic, but you should peruse this commentary from David Guzik - the first beast is the one we call the antichrist, and the second beast is the false prophet.
It’s fascinating, well written, and scholarly in scope:
Revelation Chapter 13
The ten horns are of ONE kingdom, the fourth kingdom, which in Revelation 17:He is wrong all ten horns are on one head. That makes no sense. That would be ten kingdoms all in one area of land and none anywhere else. No way that is correct
The one head on the first beast - is the beast "person". But it is wrong to call the beast person the Antichrist - although it is the same person.I understand your logic, but you should peruse this commentary from David Guzik - the first beast is the one we call the antichrist, and the second beast is the false prophet.
It’s fascinating, well written, and scholarly in scope:
Revelation Chapter 13
You should have read the whole thing, because being a scholarly commentary, it cites varying opinions and compares them.Had to stop reading when I got to here, "but the one head that has ten horns is specifically the Antichrist"
He's completely confused. The heads are mountains. None are a person. He is wrong all ten horns are on one head. That makes no sense. That would be ten kingdoms all in one area of land and none anywhere else. No way that is correct. There is at least one kingdom in each of the 7 areas of land because power and influence would need to be in all 7 places. Some of the 7 would have more than one kingdom since there are ten.
From day 2475, the kings of the earth assemble their armies at Armageddon for 45 days in preparation to make war on Jesus.
At the end of the 45 days on day 2520, Jesus descends to earth with his armies of heaven, and He destroys the armies gathered to make war on him. The beast and false prophet cast into the lake of fire. And Satan cast into the bottomless pit prison for a thousand years.
Sure. I have been posting about this for decades. It's nice to find someone who believes the same way because I haven't met very many over the years.
Thus it’s pretty clear that the first beast is the antichrist, and the second beast is his false prophet.
Yes, I agree that during the millennium Jesus will be on earth ruling from Jerusalem.Jesus is already on earth, ruling with a rod of iron, for a thousand years, before Satan is loosed and deceives the nations into attacking the city Jesus is ruling from, which is Jerusalem.
Think about it, if Jesus is still in heaven, how could satan and armies on earth think they could attack Jesus in heaven, by surrounding a city on earth?
Which at the very end of those 7 years, the kings of the earth assemble their armies at Armageddon, and take half of Jerusalem as hostages (captivity) in Zechariah 14, in preparation to make war of Jesus, coming from heaven down to earth.
Zechariah 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. They don't go to Jerusalem as they all die at Armageddon.
The kings of the earth assemble, gather their armies at Armageddon. It is a staging place. Of course the numbers will be so large that the armies spreads out to most of Israel. Not all will be in Jerusalem, when they are killed. (Revelation 14:20)Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
The only army that leaves Armageddon and goes to Jerusalem is Christ and his army.
Yes and Zechariah chapters 12-14 covers that, too, with the day of the Lord in 14:1, and the promised return of Jesus to Mount Olive with all the saints, in 14:4-5, and those armies being destroyed by Y’eshuaYes, I agree that during the millennium Jesus will be on earth ruling from Jerusalem.
My post #109 was not referring to that. But to the 7 years preceding the millennium.
