I find the failure of the church to be watchful over small matters a disturbing thing.

A few decades ago, almost every american is christian, and no one goes into the occult. Today, witches are everywhere!

A few decades ago, no homosexual dares to speak out loud. Today, Christians are silent because they are afraid to offend.

Small things like these creep out to be a very big threat, indeed!

I totally agree it seems to be a rare church that does really carefully look after its flock there are so many people who say they are Christian yet might check their walk, as myself do daily, often!
