  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The eternal question.

I chose potato. Why? Because I like both cats and dogs EQUALLY and would want both. Right now I can have neither, at least indoors. We tamed up a feral kitten who was probably born about a year ago. We moved to his neighborhood in July and it was quite a process to try to tame up the litter. Two left, one will permit petting on her terms, and then there's this one. He was the only one who became truly tame. He's kinda a dog cat. He can't get enough attention, follows us everywhere, comes running to his name, does tricks for treats, fetches, loves belly rubs, etc. We feed him but aren't allowed to have him inside. :(

We call him Oreo, and the funny thing is other locals call him Oreo too even though we heard about that after that. They thought they'd named him. He just looks like an Oreo.

That pic was taken in August, when we were still taming him up, before he would allow petting yet.

They didn’t ask for the job. They didn’t have to. It was built in. Has been ever since the dawn of time, when a few wild dogs took upon themselves, to watch over us, to bark when we were in danger, to run and play with us when we were happy, to nuzzle us, when we’re alone and scared. That’s why we call them, man’s best friend.

I am definitely a dog person.

A dog is very loyal, and they aren't "Godless Killing Machines". That's one of the most asinine things I have ever read.

You obviously haven't been around many dogs.
