I do realize people are going to die. I take no comfort in that fact, but if I seem zealous it is because I am looking to seeing the Lord.

Hidnson believes the locust are actually beast from the pit as it says they will come out of the pit. He sees these things as real hybrid demons specifically created for the end times to torment men. As it is said they will sting with there tails and men will which to die but will not, and they are allowed to torment all who have the mark of the beast. So Hindson believes they are demons. I have heard others who believe they are a type of war machine.

Hindson also says what darkens the sun is pollution speed up by a world at war. He also talks about the ozone being burned up as it is written the sun will be given power to burn men.

I think more of revelations is coming to pass and more is understood. The stage is set so to speak we have all the things now which could do what John describes. I think a nuclear war is what world war 3 will be, but people today think it is impossible for there to be a nuclear war, but look at the countries getting nukes these days, now nuke deal with iran, it only takes one to start a nuclear war.

The sun burning 7x brighter could also be the result of a "near miss" by a "rouge meteor" ripping away the protective ozone layer.

I just don't see a nuclear war possible. Life as we know it, would cease. Period.

And don't forget the battle of Armageddon. If there were a nuclear war, just between the US and Russia, we have enough "nukes" to obliterate all life on the planet. Who would be left to fight the final battle?

Like I said, if you take the breaking of the first four f the seven seals, and do simple math based on the current world's population, the numbers dead from the first four seals is staggering.

1.8 billion from the fourth seal alone!

As of this date (9/22/15), 7.3 billion people inhabit this planet. 7.3 x .25=1.8 billion!

That's a lot of people to die even before the "wormwood" of chapter 7.

Well, if the US and Russia as well as China did go for all out nuclear war, it wouldn't take out the middle East nor the Southern Hemisphere. Europe might even be spared. Just because we both have more than enough nukes to destroy all life on Earth doesn't mean either of us would target Australia, for instance.

Ok, lets suppose you're correct and the big countries don't target places like Aus. Given the multiple warheads, how long would it take for fallout to contaminate the world?

Remember what happened at Chernobyl?

During the last "World War" what part(s) of the world wasn't touched by it?

Very, very few.

And given that Pakistan now has the "bomb", how long before other Middle East countries could be touched by them?

Given the SCUD missiles fired during the Gulf war, even a "dirty" bomb could affect Israel.

But what the hey.

I love coke but sadly it cost more than a dollar at most places to buy one now. I think Jeff makes a point and that is what Hindson is saying as well us and Russia would only target each other it would take only a few to kill everyone in both countries. This is what I mean people think a nuclear war can not happen, but all agree if it did it would be the end. isn't that what we are speaking of?

It could be a nuke an asteroid and other stuff all going on at once. I do home the rapture happens before. Thanks for discussing.

Well now that the Russians are in Syria, things are a lot more interesting. In fact, they are building bases so it doesn't look like a short term deployment, so all bets are off the table.

Israel is probably really concerned to have Putin's guys in the back yard, enough that Netanyahu went to Russia this week to talk about it. Israeli pilots would likely shoot down any MIGs that cross their border. Seems to me that now we have the parched forest and not in a good part of the world to be throwing matches around.

MIR'd warheads will still hit precision targets. Check out the Northrop-Grumman youtube video of the MX missile.

I don't think Russia is the biggest concern for Israel, i think it is Iran and Egypt which have both stated Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth. I have heard Christians speaking of this but don't know for a fact, just pastors and what not are saying congress was voting on a treaty deal with Iran that if Israel attacks them the U.S. would also go to war with Israel. I have no way to confirm this but if its true it is alarming and now we see Rev coming to life as the world unites against Israel.

Those videos of the nukes certainly look like it raining down fire and could be thought of as Hail. Think if you lived almost 2,000 years ago how would you describe it?
