I luv it Wormie, i really love it. Have not started that thread tho but will get round to doin it sometime this week, the one with translating elvish names. Wolfman I got somethin to say I talked to someone who knows Maori culture and he said that Amenie is translated from English into Maori because the English were into religion back then. The Maori actually had Karakia. I will try to find some and I will post them here so u guys can c what a karakia looks like and I will also translate the word Karakia so u guys know what it means kk.

I no Wolfman ur not familiar with any karakia but here is a real common one. This one they say it before class.

Tukua taku wairua kia rere ki ngā taumata (~ Release my spirit)
Hei ārahi i āku mahi
Me taku whai i te reo Māori (~ that I may learn the Māori language)
Kia mau kia ita
Kia kore ai e ngaro
Kia pupiri kia whakamaua kia tinā (tinā!)
Haumī e
Hui e
Tāiki e!

Hope that helps understanding Karakia and yes that does make sense. I will try to translate the word Karakia right now if that would help to know what Karakia means. I guess Karakia means prayer but I am not so sure.

Karakia has many meanings, and I know now that Whare Karakia means Church, I neva knew it. Here r Karakias meanings, some may be stunning to know though. Giggles.

Karakia - Incarntation, Invocation, Prayer, Service and Worship.

Another bit of Maori that astounds me is the Reverend (Minister) is by the name in Maori of Kaikarakia. I can kinda translate ur name from Wolfman to Dogman if u want me to, I no Dog is Kuri so its Kuri...... hang on, ill check man kk and that means u can get a bit of jist of maori kk. Kuriuta. Hehehe. Or Kuritangata. Tangata means person. If u c the words Tangata Whenua though it means People of the Land. Whenua means land.

Wormie u may be left out on the Maori mumbo jumbo but I translated ur name, couldnt translate wormie but I checked and translated worm. There r some meanings for worm, take ur pick.

Worm - noke or toke.

The sayin goes like this, I didnt say ur saying Wolfman caus I thought ud get the meaning of the word. A worm will turn, but will it bite? - Tērā te noke ka huri, otirā, ka ngau ia? Hope that helps to understand what it means kk Wormie.

I will also put my elvish name there and I will mention a good friend of mine (u) then ur elvish name is goin to help me translate ur names into elvish. I will put it on the first post. What do u think bout that idea Wolfman544 caus I c Wormie hasnt read the Maori conversations that we r having at the moment?

Nope, Entish is the ancient language of Treebeard and the other Ents.

At least we will have a maori one up and running soon. gigglz. Nor am I, I can say TeeJee knows it exists and I guess most NZ ppl know bout that language.

I don't know if Tolkien made an entire entish language, so it might not even be possible

hmm, it might not b possible but there is one way I coulf find out, look up eintish on Wikipedia and tell u what I have found bout the eintish language and see if it is a whole language Wolfman544.
