awesome, you rockWell: blade = russë (noun) literally: a sword-blade (poetic) OR maica (noun) ...used of a cutting tool or weapon, especially sword-blade;
warrior = 1.) ohtar (noun) 2.) mahtar (noun)
masculine ending = -no
IMO, the best combination of these words (also what I think suits you best) is: Russëmahtarno.
(pronounced: Roo-seh-mah-tar-no)
If I'm wrong, Morv will tell me... if he's still around... >__>
Aww thanks guys...I've had a smidge of practice; I think it's more due to the fact that I have a lot of great resources!!
hmm, i am sadly lacking in the translating department.Ur welcome Wormie. I havnt had a whole lot of great resources but umm I am thinkin, do u think we should start up a thread which can translate ppls names into Elvish if they really want too so u can translate their names and I can put them on or we could kinda start a website, same thing but more ppl to do it... u, me and Wolfman but we need the resources though.
I was thinking something along the lines of:kk, what do u suggest for the name of the thread and the name that we translate for the ad?
I was meaning the speak friend and enter, as the riddlewolfman544 what riddle do u suggest?? I like what wormie has suggested though. I dont have a idea but ill think up some.
Wolfman is Rácamo, Hazel Angel is Kottulainumë,
Wormie is .... and Morvular is .....
Whats urs?? Speak friend and enter here.
Somethin along the lines of that I suggest. Its not a riddle but I guess it will do for the thread. Do u agree with that Wolfman. Wormie can u translate those two names with the dots like this ...... and it will b complete.
My own username, Morvaltur, is a combination of three Quenya "syllables." Mor means "dark" or "darkness." Val means "power," and Tur is a suffix meaning "master of" or "mastery" or just "master." Thus, literally, Morvaltur means "dark power mastery," but translated as a name it means "Master of the Dark Power." In this context I am using dark to refer to darkness or night, not evil.
*grins* So no, I am not a satanic priest.
i'm not even sure what language Maori is hehe.I no this isnt the place for it wolfman or wormie nor Moultavar but a bit of Maori u should know. If I said ppl here were friendly I could have said ppl here r ratarata or ppl here r hoahoa. I will translate the full sentence if u guys wish me too. Friend in Maori is hoa or apati so that is a part of the riddle that I am makin up wolfman with the words friend in other languages. If anyone knows either friend in another languages (not Maori, English, African or Elvish) they could help in completin the riddle.
Ok, that makes senseMaori is the national language of NZ Wolfman. They came to NZ before the Europeans first settled here. They call English Pakehas too so in both our respects we r all pakeha, hehehe. Unfriendly in Maori is atawhai kino or whakakeke so I am glad I dont have to say no one is either atawhai kino or whakakeke here at Christian Forums. Here is where I found out all the stuff bout friendlyness and unfriendliness.

Maori have a whole lot of customs and rules e.g u cant touch a persons head and u cant sit on the tables. When we say thats rude they say that is tapu and u cant do that. U get the Maori language now Wolfman544
U do. The All Blacks haka is in Maori too. Something that intrigues me, it might intrigue u Wolfman is they say prayers before and after meals or something like that but after every prayer they do (this is the part that entrigues me) they say amene. I wonder why that is but I am sure to find out what it means and I will b sure to post what it means here.
That is interesting. It could b this though 'āmine' which is Maori for Amen. That could b it but I dunno. I will have to look that up or ask a good friend of mine what amene means because I have got maori friends that dont go here and dont know about this, in fact I am sure out of all my Maori friends no one knows about this website.
